To CME Event Coordinator Katherine Whitten, there’s nothing more important or rewarding than truly investing in a client, seeing their project through and watching as their event becomes a life-making night.
Driven by her passion for people, attention to detail, and dedication to providing a perfect, finished product, Katherine assists Courtney and Sarah with the crucial details that connect clients to vendors, venues and suppliers. From proofreading invitations to managing the valet team on site, Katherine supports the event production team to make sure everything goes off without a hitch.
Katherine started with the CME team as Office Manager in October 2010. Previously, she helped to plan the Catkins Ball, a charity gala to raise money for the restoration of historic buildings in her Hill Country hometown of San Saba, TX. Katherine also oversaw Rush activities and events for her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, at Texas A&M University. Planning events is a natural fit for the ambitious Katherine, who grew up in a household where entertaining was a regular affair. She learned from the best — her mother — that while decor and design are crucial elements of any good party, what really matters is the people.
