CME GUEST BLOGGERS

I’m Allison, a Texas-native living in Chicago, and more importantly, a former-CME bride and current (wannabe) CME groupie. I first met Courtney and the CME team last year when we worked together to plan our wedding. Quickly after we started, I decided I wanted to be their best friends and move to Austin so we could spend all day talking about shoes, food, nail polish colors, and weddings, of course. While I haven’t been able to pull off the move to Austin yet, I’m so happy to have stayed friends with the amazing ladies at CME, and was super thrilled to be asked to be a guest blogger on the CME blog!

Howdy! I’m Wendee, AKA “Wendell”, a floral designer based in Austin. I often work with the CME girls with their amazeballs productions and am honored to have a place on the Guest Blogger panel. Stay tuned for pretty decor, ideas, rants/raves and a lot of bad grammar. I’m an artist, and I simply can’t be bothered with proper English and spell check. Oh, and some corny and probably bad jokes.

Hi, I’m Nicole Lioliou (pictured left)! While I was born and raised in Houston, I currently reside in Austin as a Junior attending the University of Texas at Austin. A keen sense of detail and a passion for creative work have led me to explore my talents through studying Advertising and Public Relations, with a Business minor. I am a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, which has allowed me to become involved in campus Greek life, as well as various charities and fundraisers. I also served as the social chair, which exposed me to planning various events, both formal and casual, ultimately leading me to want to pursue event planning. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, adventuring outdoors, all the while exploring the Austin scene. Through my internship at Caplan Miller, I hope to peer inside the glamorous industry of event planning and gain necessary exposure to help me succeed in my future endeavors.

Hi there! I’m Becca Wright (pictured right), and I am a junior at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Journalism. As a Houston-native, I was drawn to Austin because of its eccentricity, emerging food scene and, of course, the live music. I am always up for trying news things, food and life related. While I find joy in nailing the perfect interview or writing a captivating lead, I also hope to gain knowledge in all fields of communication. My odd need for constant organization and my eye for detail and design has led me to explore event planning with Caplan Miller Events! I look forward to a semester filled with new experiences and discovering a future career path.
