Who says you have to just pick one cake? Our October bride, Maile loved Coco Paloma’s pastries so much that she could not just settle on one cake so she went with 5 and I don’t blame her! Don’t be afraid to mix is up with your wedding cakes. I did it 7 years ago for my wedding and I’m thrilled to see the trend is still alive and well!

Garden parties can be done a thousand different ways. We have all seen the wildflower, birch wood, antique garden party done again and again so now it’s time to clean it up and polish the hedges. We are inspired by this gorgeous artisan crafted mirror, boxwood hedges, Parisian inspired fountains, trellis print linens, and the list goes on and on.

I’m predicting this year brides will take inspiration from Kate’s Alexander McQueen gown and incorporate subtle touches of lace into their decor. I love this trend, especially when paired with metallics. Fabulous!

Brian proposed to Maile in her family’s vineyard, so it was only perfect for them to exchange vows in that very spot one year later. This was the most amazing clear tent that allowed the guests to enjoy a stunning Texas sunset! Thank you to Marquee Tents for making this dream a reality. Congrats to the beautiful couple on their beautiful wedding!

I loved putting on this special retreat for Nike this year. Paddle boarding, massages, bacci ball and a meal prepared by the award winning chef, David Bull…how could one go wrong? To top it off, the night concluded with a private fireside concert by Jack Ingram. It was truly an unforgettable Austin experience.

Kate Soape and Paul Waters shared a love of the ocean. So we pulled the tranquilness of the sea along with their classic design style for wedding perfection. Thanks to Photography by Vanessa for the beautiful photos and Kurant Events for one the most amazing menus ever! Petal Pushers arranged the beautiful flowing phalaenopsis orchids and Townesley Designs brought in the romantic draping and furniture. Thanks to all who made this a truly stunning party!
