COOKIE SANDWICH HEAVEN
The other day my good friend Clark told me about a certain food tuck, Cool Haus, that sells cookie sandwiches that are supposedly to die for! He told me that this wasn’t going to be my average chocolate chip cookie with stereotypical vanilla ice cream. It’s an extraordinary cookie sandwich on a much higher and sophisticated level. He began to list the wide varieties of cookies and ice creams that I could choose – from Double Chocolate Chip w/ Sea Salt to Vegan Carrot Cake, then to pair it with the assortment of ice creams from Candied Bacon to Strawberry Jalapeno Gelato–I made him take me there as fast as possible!
Walking up to this petite size truck, the saleswomen looked out of this window and greeted us with the sweetest smile. We asked her what the most popular cookie sandwich people ordered was and what was her absolute favorite. She talked me into trying the Dirty Mint (a vanilla ice cream made with real mint and basil leaves swirled in w/ huge chunks of chocolate chip) and to pair it with a Red Velvet cookie (I’ve never had a more soft cookie in my life!). Clark had one of the other popular cookies, the Potato Chip & Butterscotch (I repeat, potato chips in a cookie!) and matched it with Salted Caramel ice cream. I kid you not, this was probably THE best cookie sandwich that I had ever tasted, one that no store-bought dessert could ever beat!
So if you are looking for a yummy, sweet treat to blow your guests socks off, I’d encourage you to consider Cool Haus to cater your next event. I am certain that this would be the perfect indulgence on any hot summer day!
