Campechana, Ceviche, Seafood Cocktails…these light, fresh-tasting dishes make the perfect meal on a hot day. Dani and I just returned from a trip to Houston where we had our fill of the best campechana in the whole-wide-world…at Goode Company Seafood. I’m a native Houstonian, so I of course had to introduce Dani to this delicious dish the minute she arrived!
The Campechana de Mariscos at Goode Company Seafood is the Texas version of a Mexican classic and it is among the best seafood cocktails ever, ever, ever! The Goode Company original contains loads of lump crabmeat and lots of shrimp tossed with avocado and tomatoes in a peppery tomato sauce, all served in a parfait glass.

I love to incorporate seafood cocktails at my events. I have used ceviche many times and love displaying it in ice along with great glassware and lots of accompaniments like lime, tortilla chips, and diced jalapeno… Y.U.M! Here are a few of my favorite past events that included beautiful displays of ceviche!
