FRESAS FOREVER!
I have to admit that when my favorite coffee shop, Emerald City Press on NOLA (that’s north Lamar people) closed back in 2010 I was more than a little heartbroken. No one could make a chai latte quite like them.
So when Fresas Chicken al Carbon opened up in its place several weeks ago, I was a bit hesitant to go check it out. However, I could not ignore all the buzz and of course the fact that its creators are also behind a few other of my favorite places in town such as Perlas and Lamberts.
So, I picked up a chicken dinner on Sunday for the fam and the experience changed my life! Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in Austin, no joke! You have to check this place out! And the best news ever…they cater!!!! Oh yes, I cannot wait to work with them on an event.
Lastly, when you go, get the helado. Trust me!
