Dreaming up ideas for our clients and their events is what we do. The process and the time that goes into creating the decor, furniture and prop pieces is something that guests never really see…. so here is a sneak peek into my world of design!
A special shout out to my decor partners and producers, the fabulous Townsley Designs. I love brainstorming with them…because the next day, they send me amazing sketches that bring our vision to life!

ENTRANCE TO DANCING ROOM
behind our curtain entrance was the dancing and dessert room scheduled to open later in the evening. when it was time to move the guests into this space, we used great lighting to grab their attention and our red austrian curtain was raised to reveal the next phase of the night!

LIGHT UP CARNIVAL-STYLE DESSERT SIGNS
our carnival themed party wouldn’t be complete without properly labeling our dessert stations, right?

BROADWAY THEMED STAGE PROSCENIUM
a proscenium is a large frame or arch usually located at the front of a stage. my broadway themed event wouldn’t be complete with out one! using various broadway playbills and lots of glitter, this ENORMOUS prop piece was the largest we have ever produced! it took over 30 men to hold it in place before raising it in the air!

PLAYBILL CENTERPIECES
my broadway themed event had food stations that were themed around broadway musicals. our event was in a very large space, so i needed centerpieces that could be seen from anywhere on the stage. im not sure if you can tell from these photos, but these gorgeous, rose-encrusted playbills were HUGE!

PHANTOM BAR
no broadway event is complete without a little Phantom of the Opera. we created a “phantom bar” decked with crystal candelabras, red roses, and our course bartenders in phantom masks.

BALLROOM BOOTHS
we were tasked with turning the ballroom of the four seasons hotel into a night club. we envisioned large corner “booths” for our VIPs.

JAKE’S ENTRANCE
when i first met jake, i learned that he was an incredible tennis player. but jake did not want his party to have a tennis theme. i still had to get a tiny bit of tennis into this event and what better way than 8′ tall, tennis ball covered letters to welcome his guests

BASEBALL CENTERPIECE
our baseball luncheon wouldn’t be complete without a huge, pendant lined, baseball centerpiece.
