Sarah Miller and team have combined their talents to deliver breathtakingly unique event experiences. Sarah’s reputation for excellence and creativity is at the root of Caplan Miller’s success over the last 13 years. Sarah manages all aspects of event production and design and ensures the highest levels of service and execution on all CME projects. With a unique ability to spin ideas into full-fledged event environments, she knows the right mix of aesthetics to accomplish your goals.
Listening and understanding each personal inspiration, Sarah builds an authentic look and feel that is a true reflection of the client. Whether celebrating success at a company event or lasting love at an intimate wedding, your event will have the right combination of color, lighting, room setup, food and much more.
When not in the office or at an event, Sarah enjoys a good barre workout or going for a run on Austin’s trails. She is also an active member of the Texas PTA for the school where her children Will and Ava attend.
Director of Events
Myra is the driving force behind every Caplan Miller event. An expert project manager, she sees the big picture and the steps to make it happen. She thrives on logistics, ensuring plans are set, deadlines are met, and clients are up to speed along the way. Whether planning your wedding, birthday party, or company celebration, Myra is there to eliminate stress and frustration so you can enjoy this special time. Her approach is informed by more than 20 years of experience in catering and events, and nothing takes her by surprise.
Born and raised in Houston, Myra came to Austin to attend The University of Texas and never left. With a degree in government, she planned on attending law school, but fell in love with events instead. Mothers and brides will tell you she’s incredibly diplomatic!
In her free time, Myra enjoys cooking, entertaining and spending time with her husband, Kenneth, two boys, Trace and Wilson, and charcoal lab, Pearl (like a Tahitian pearl).
Nicole makes it her mission to bring your vision to life — ensuring your personality shines through even the smallest of details. A logistics mastermind, she assists with guest list management and taps vendors for photo, video, hair and makeup. Additionally, she channels her creativity into curating welcome gifts, coordinating feature activities, executing unforgettable send-offs, conceptualizing stationery suites, and overseeing in-house print and web design. On your big day, she’ll be on the front lines making sure you never stop smiling.
Nicole grew up in Portland (small-town Texas, not Oregon) and attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she completed the Texas Creative Sequence and earned her degree in Advertising with a minor in Textiles and Apparel. During college, she served as the Art Director for the University Fashion Group. She also worked at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and interned with C3 Presents, supporting the merchandising team at Lollapalooza and the Austin City Limits Music Festival. After hours, you’ll find her trying new craft cocktails at Austin’s best bars or at the dog park with her goldendoodle, Stanley.

Courtney first met Sarah working together for six years on the catering team at The Driskill Hotel before forming Caplan Miller Events in 2006. Courtney and Sarah’s reputation for excellence and creativity is at the root of Caplan Miller’s success over the last 13 years. Courtney sold the business to Sarah in January of 2020 and remains on the team as a consultant, managing various aspects of event production ensuring the highest levels of service and execution. With the perfect combination of flexibility and precision — and a great sense of humor — she exceeds client expectations time and time again.
